What ever happened to?

Our glove team over the years has brought education, a smile and some great laugh filled memories to many a department.  We thought we would include a brief update on some of our more requested past employees!

STEPHANIE BURNHAM – GLOVEGIRL 2000-2005
Stephanie was our first sales representative and successfully doubled the sales within her first year at FirstLine.  Her laughter and love of life was certainly a significant part of her connection with our customers.  Stephanie worked tirelessly with every department, whether a small volunteer or major city, every customer received her undivided attention.  Stephanie worked diligently on educating prospective customers and 3 years after her departure, she is still “the most requested glovegirl” by our customers.

A trade show favorite, dancing endlessly into the midnight hour, and known for her tremendous booth presence, Stephanie was a vital part of FirstLine’s early success. Unfortunately for the FirstLine team, but all very happy for her, Stephanie left in 2005 to pursue motherhood.

She is the proud wife of Doug and the greatest Mom ever to her 3 year old son, Braylon.  She now resides in Santa Barbara County with her family, where she is a domestic engineer, working around the clock to bring laughter and pleasure to her wonderful family!  Still in contact with the crew, she will always be welcome for a glovegirl return and we are blessed to have had her here at FirstLine!

ELLI WEINER SNIFF – GLOVEGIRL 2001-2005
Elli joined our team as an administrative assistant, but her outgoing personality and love of business quickly promoted her to sales!  No one will ever forget her “stirring her coffee” or “mimicking the helicopter” with her long (below the knees) red hair at the tradeshows.  Forever the champion of positive attitude, Elli showed entrepreneurial spirit early on, wanting to learn every facet of the glove business.

In 2003, she traveled to Malaysia and learned the business from the ground up, visiting our factories and test laboratories.  She utilized this experience to provide stellar education over the years, successfully growing the business for her last 2 years at the company.

Elli departed FirstLine for bigger and better opportunities, a family life outside Seattle, Washington, where she now resides with her husband Brandon.  She has successfully launched her own photography business enterprise, at no surprise to her FirstLine team.  Her website www.nostalgiaphotographics.com certainly demonstrates the talent of Elli, and since her departure, has contracted with FirstLine, attending tradeshows and continuing our sales success!

 KRISTEAN ALCOCER – GLOVESTUD 2001-2006
Kristean started at FirstLine in 2001 as our shipping receiving clerk.  It wasn’t hard to notice that Kristean’s great communication skills and effervescent personality were loved by all.  Since Kristean loved to dance, we took him to a trade show to act as the glovegirl road manager, (a job with a waiting list always) and we quickly realized that he was a great asset to our sales team!  Unable to wait for an attendee to approach our booth, Kristean went out into the tradeshow aisles, drawing trade show attendees in to meet with the rest of the team.

In 2004, Kristean was promoted to our Materials Coordinator, where he ordered all products from the factory, keeping inventory at optimum levels for our customers.  Successful at both materials and sales, Kristean closed many new customers at FirstLine and was adored by the team for stepping up to the plate and taking on any project.  A favorite memory we all share of Kristean is, after he left, we went into his temp folder and found a word document with a file name of Kristean’s Daily Duties.  Upon opening, we found it was blank, and he has never lived it down!  We asked for all pay to be returned, however, he declined.

Today Kristean resides outside Albuquerque, New Mexico in Rio Rancho and is a Purchasing Manager for a light fixture company.  He manages several people and should he ever decide to relocate back to the Central Coast, he knows he can return as our glove stud!

GINA YARGER - GLOVEGIRL 2008-2009
Gina joined our team in 2008 as our Administrative Assistant, having relocated to the Central Coast from Pennsylvania.  A graduate of Penn State, Gina achieved honors with a degree in Health Policy Administration.  Our behind the scenes support person, Gina assisted the Sales & Marketing team on a daily basis to help them achieve success!  She also worked daily to support our Operations Manager assisting in general accounting duties.

She had relocated with her fiance, an officer in the Air Force, who was temporarily stationed at Vandenburg Air Force Base, training for his career in Space Operations.  Although we had hoped for a full two years with Gina, unfortunately for our team, her fiance was transferred to Colorado in just 6 short months!

We will miss her contribution, as Gina was a focused, diligent worker who brought great organization to our office, as well as eager attitude, which enabled her to quickly learn a variety of responsibilities in the office.  We wish her luck and will keep you updated on her whereabouts!

Have you been a glovegirl we have lost contact with?  Would you like your profile on our website?  Please contact us as we would love to add you!
